The Motor City Casino, a temporary casino for Circus Circus, is housed in a former bread factory facility that was built in the 1920’s. The former bread factory required a substantial amount of demolition, structural renovation and building additions to convert the abandoned building into a 400,000 square foot, world class gaming facility.

The project also included the renovation of the adjacent 100,000 square foot building which houses retail shopping and four restaurants.

LaSalle self performed the excavation, foundations, flat work concrete, and precast-topping concrete for the 1,144,000 square foot casino parking structure. Working seven days a week through winter months, LaSalle poured 20,000 cubic yards of foundation concrete in sixty days, finishing one month ahead of schedule. LaSalle completed the entire parking structure in just eight months.
